LETTING GO
Yoga Nidra by Alexandra McElwee

The lovely thing about Yoga Nidra is it requires absolutely no previous experience with meditation and it is basically effortless. All that you need to do is get cozy and listen to the sound of the voice that is guiding you. The meditation consists of different body and breath techniques that will enable you to drop down to a silent and still space where the thoughts are much farther apart.

For this Yoga Nidra, you’ll want to be lying down. Your body temperature will drop as you are lying still, so dress warmly and comfortably, perhaps cover yourself with a blanket. We often use intention in Yoga because when you are more in your body and less attached to your thoughts, your intention is more easily able to be planted and take root. The intention of this Yoga Nidra is letting go of that which we cannot control, with an overall theme of release. You can do this Yoga Nidra at any time, though it is especially nice to do before bedtime because it is so relaxing. Similar to getting a massage or acupuncture, Yoga Nidra has a very detoxing effect, so you’ll want to drink plenty of water afterwards.

SAFE AND SECURE
Yoga Nidra by Kerry Martinez

This Yoga Nidra is recorded to draw your attention into the body and relax your nervous system. Yoga Nidra not only releases tension in our body and mind, but with this deep restful activity we can boost immune function! When you start feeling anxious, lie down and turn it on to bring your body and mind back to balance. You can do it daily. We can always come back to balance by bringing our attention inward. Yoga Nidra is a solid inward road toward health.
