Community for the Community
One of the main tenets of our mission is to make acupuncture accessible and low barrier. However, we know there is much work to be done outside of our walls. With this re-opening, we have reconfigured our model so that we can set aside at least 10% of the proceeds for charitable giving.
For our pop-up events, we ask the partnering local business to choose the organization or group that feels most meaningful for them.
For in-clinic treatments, we will make donations to help expand acupuncture, mental health and wellness services outside of the White L and inside of Baltimore’s Black Butterfly. We invite you to co-create with us as we consider the following for funding:
-
acupuncture at Mend for those who can’t afford services otherwise.
-
acupuncture for an organization or group outside of the White L.
-
organizations doing good work (non-acupuncture related).
If you have any thoughts or suggestions, please drop us a line.
