The Scoop

In 2007 Sarah opened Seeds Center for Whole Health which offered private acupuncture among other services. In 2013 she expanded to open a sister location (Mend Community Acupuncture) that would offer more affordable and convenient options for receiving acupuncture.

What we learned in the last three years is that both of these locations work really well together.

We love the option to get you in same day for the headaches, ankle sprains, PMS and colds at the Walk-in clinic. We love the open-studio model as it allows us to bring the price down and it allows you to come with your pal. We also love the chance to slow down and better get to know your goals and concerns in our One on One clinic. We like that we can bill your insurance in the One on One clinic too.

In short, these two models of acupuncture care work really well together; it just makes sense for Seeds and Mend to marry. It’s a good partnership.

Both clinic locations will simply be called: Mend Acupuncture. The original Seeds clinic will be our Mend One on One Clinic (clinic located above Cafe Hon) and the Mend Community Acupuncture (around the corner above Hampden Junque) will keep it’s name.

While the name changed, not much else will. It’s your same acupuncturists you love and just maybe a bit of new paint on the walls, that’s all. Thanks for your continued support over the years. We love what we do, and more so we love the clients we get to be with every day.
